Ten years after "Open Close Open", To Rococo Rot's Robert Lippok returns to Raster Noton with this colorful full length album. Constrasting strongly with most of this label's aesthetics, "Redsuperstructure" is an accessible, almost glitchless downtempo album in which atmospheric field recordings serve as base material to dubby beats and flowing melodies. The textures are dense, the sound dynamic, and this is an album which slow paints ambiances rather than generate them out of highly thought of clicks and noises, as usual with Raster Noton. A musically rich and quite hypnotizing creation.
