After quite a long pause, Shackleton is back with a first EP, paving the way to his new album. While the overall sound of this outsider of the dubstep scene hasn't radically changed (very deep atmospheres, dark undertones, huge low frequencies and modest beats), this new delivery sounds even more downtempo (and less dubstep) than ever before. Between oppressive walls of bass, very dark pads and a beat which is more subtle than you would think at first, Shackleton is definitely up to something very solid and original.
