It is with an almost Rottun-esque split EP between UK's Shadow Conspiracy and New Zealand's Sick Cycle that we open the doors of the Ad Noiseam store to releases of the British label Section 8. Both acts deliver strong wobble and dark d'n'b breaks supported by a clear and well cut sound on these five tracks. My preference might go to Sick Cycle's balanced and often melodic heavy tunes, but Shadow Conspiracy's slightly faster, more drum'n'bass oriented ones are solid as well. All in all an easy-to-spin, well produced EP for all digital DJs that want to add a bit more sci-fi weight to their set.
