A year after the first part of his "Space Traitor" narration, Starkey offers us a sequel which sees his skills take another step forward. The combination of spacey, soundtrackish aesthetics, crunky 8-bit melodies, dubstep rhythms and hip hop beats works extremely well here, and while the poppiest tracks might take a couple of listenings for some to get used to them, I really enjoy how the whole thing turned out. From relatively gritty tunes to hip hop headnodders to more techno oriented anthems, plus a couple of remixes, this second volume makes me hope for a third one. Very, very recommended over here.
