Quite a stylistic change for SubtractiveLad. If this canadian artist's previous albums on N5md were resolutely electronic, "No Mand's Land" sees him follow N5md's figurehead Bitcrush in accoustic territories, and add even more melancholy and introversion along the way. An album which could on all level fit on such a label as City Centre Office, "No Man's Land" is a beautifully flowing and deeply personal CD which manages well to mix together long melodic drones, modest electronic and subdued strings. Reccommended.
