An all star-band whose line-up is the stuff dreams are made of, The Blood Of Heroes bring together Enduser, Balazs Pandi (known for his drumming for Enduser, Bong-Ra or Merzbow), Bill Laswell, Submerged, Pendulum's KJ Sawka, Dr Isreal and M. Filip, all working with and around Godflesh's Justin Broadrick's riffs. That's quite a lot of people to pack in an eleven track album, but the whole thing work very well. Quickly said, we're speaking mid-tempo drum'n'bass, long weeping guitars, energetic vocals (on some tracks) and a first-class production. Gritty but polished, diverse but compact: a successful meeting of excellent musicians.
