First, this is probably the first The Bug release with a good looking sleeve, which is already something. Its A side, "Run" is very close to the Hyperdub released "Skeng", though a tad grittier; it's really on the B side that things get a bit newer, with a two tracks featuring female vocals by Hitomi (who also appears on the King Mida Sounds album). Probably Bug-esque renditions of material originally planned for this other project, these are the two tunes that stand out for me here, and bring a bit of novelty to Kevin Martin's sound.
