Very nice third release on the dutch label Mindtrick, and the first for The Eerier Child. A very melodic, at time almost industrial-ish blend of dubstep, "A Blade In The Dark" distantiates itself quite clearly from most UK dubstep in the way the drums and long melodies are handled, but should have to answer to no-one bass-wise. Hard to describe, somewhere between dubstep and "something else", it fits somewhere in the shelves close to Cakebuilder's "Feeding The Worms" and is something I would quite strongly recommend.
