Concept split album during which Holland's The Law Rah Collective and Russia's Cisfinitum pay homage to the ANS machine, an early 20th century russian synthesizer prototype. The Law-Rah pieces, droney and almost dreamy, sandwich a long tune by Cisfinitum, whose material sounds a bit more lo-fi and old-school (as one would expect on such a project). All in all a very atmospheric album, spherical and mostly clear, which has the good idea of staying clear both of noise and cliché darkness. Interesting, and not only for its nod to one of the earliest synthesizer ever.
