Finally there, here comes the first full length album by the UK drum'n'bass outfit The Sect. and it is something which fits extremely well on Subdivision. Clean but percussive, relentless but sharp, these guys' tracks are clearly something to put on your shelves (and in your mixes) next to Current Value, Dean Rodell and Machine Code. And still, The Sect have their personal sound, a bit less pummeling that their colleagues, taking a bit more time for the tracks to evolve and with maybe stronger british d'n'b influence. The main album (the first CD of the two) is a jewel, and the second, containing collaboration tracks with the like of Cooh or Dean Rodell is really something as well. Very recommended.
