As much as I would like to, I can't review this album objectively. From all I know, This Morn' Omina is a nice person and a dedicated musician, but this new double CD album has both of its feet planted in one of the very few genres which I don't manage to appreciate, mainly trance. Yes, there are some ethno and industrial elements thrown into the mix, but still, more or less the whole thing is full of these straight beats, arpeggiated tones and spacey atmospheres which make me grind my teeth. Add to this industrial-club oriented vocals on a few tracks, and you get something which, though well done, is not my cup of tea. Maybe yours.
