Eleventh year and eighth album for the italian band TMK (sometimes standing for "Thee Maldoror Kollective", here for "Textbook of Modern Karate" with a dark and gritty mixture of post-rock, jazzy horns and industrial samples. Somewhere at the confluent of all genre and pretty forward with all their instrumentation, TMK deliver here quite a wild ride with a lot of dirty and menacing moments, and remind me a bit of what Giardini Di Miro might have done with a trumpet player after a long night of listening to classic industrial records.
