IÄ'm not sure what's the weirdest thing about TRG is: is it that this producer based in Bucharest has quickly managed to become pivotal in the otherwise UK-only dubstep scene, or is it that his very metronomical and dry beats manage somewhat to carry some funk into his tracks? This "Decisions" is a good example of the whole thing: not only is this released on the prestigious Tempa imprint, but its three tracks marry snippets of up-to-date groovy / hip hop elements and are still made of quite dry and hard tonalities. Clearly not your middle-of-the-road dubstep (which hasn't been released on Tempa recently anyway) and a strong, well done and original record for this genre.
