At the same time as Subscape, Trolley Snatcha gets a double 12" EP on Dub Police, following a few remarked singles. We get the ironic title, and Trolley Snatcha does his best to try and bring variation to his tracks here. It works rather well, stylistically, as the EP ranges from the heavy hitter to the almost soulful garage tune or from the more aerial, home-listening one to the pop mashup. And still, this all stays resolutely (and too much, somewhat) very, very dubstep. This genre has grown relatively wide, and Trolley Snatcha knows its rules, but sticks so much very strict rules. Not bad, but I wish it was bringing something a bit fresher.
