Tympanik Audio's latest signing, Undermathics, is a young musician from Poland whose début is a uncommonly lush and rich album. Broadly said, we're dealing again with some kind of electronic-meets-industrial affair here, but the array of sounds used here is very wide, ranging from some classical srings to some much more distorted beats, and the structures of the tracks are quite all over the board as well. Maybe not an album that will get a grip on its listener immediately, but might reveal its depths and richness to people ready to listen to it carefully. Nice one.
