Following their first series of insect-themed white labels, Weevil Neighbourood do it again with another two tracker by an unknown artist (I'll let you ponder if this is the same unknown person or not), this time coming as a black label in a hand designed and numbered sleeve (the whole pressing being limited to 200 copies). Less dubstep and not drum'n'bass anymore, "Blindfold" is a resolutely dark combination of very deep dub-techno, Berlin-style, and Shackleton-esque gritty dubstep. It's all rather downtempo, slightly noisy and obscure, but once again very well done. Just like the previous releases on this label, this is something which people shouldn't pass on.
