Ziad Nawfal's "Ruptured Sessions" is an influential Lebanese radioshow showcasing experimental electronic music to the vibrant Beyrut scene, and regularly hosting live sessions from local or touring musicians. This CD is a fourth in an ongoing series gathering these recordings, presenting material either exclusively written for the occasion or recording during the show by Enduser, C-Drik, Munma and a few others. Mostly downtempo and atmospheric, with a few nods to the mid-eastern nature of this show, this is a particularly charming compilation which should both help people to get to know contemporary experimentalists from Lebanon and people there to reminisce these shows.
