Long awaited first full length album by Velapene Screen, a NYC based act evolving somewhere at the border between the american IDM scene (soft pads, nice tunes, think N5MD and Proem) and a more human, hip hop-y and jazzy sound. In the end, "Medical breaths" is a surprisingly varied album which could remind of a touching and softer version of what Machine Drum is doing. A daring and very welcome album from Frozen Empire Media. People, this is a lot more interesting that 4/4 noisy beat, and therefore very recommended.
