Very pleasant debut album from Vndl (apparently a new project from Canada). Very contained, modest and low key, the thirteen tracks of "Gahrena" are full of background soundscapes and echoed melodies, the whole thing intertwined with sharp, sparse beats and reverbed pads. The whole album is quite the meditative one, calm and chilled out though very synthetic sounding. A solid debut, let's see what Vndl will come up with next.
