While the (uncommonly luxurious) cover might make one think that France's Von D has come up with some burlesque dubstep for this new Black Acre 12", things turn out at the same time less surprising and more satisfying. The title track is a high energy, techno-ish dubstep track that reminds a lot of what the 7even label is doing. The B side is an almost accoustic-sounding, laid back and very nice remix by Tes La Rok, which sounds a bit like what this guy used to do in his better day. A new proof of Black Acre's diversity and another solid record from Von D.
