Excellent self-released, digital-only follow up EP by Awake A Week (a.k.a. Detritus), which grows here from his dark and quite orchestral "Little Black Cloud" and gives birth to a compact yet extremely nice, melancholic and subdued release. Mixing low key noisy drones with piano and other accoustic melodies, "Abandon" is something which could have come out on Type or Miasmah, for it definitely carries the same of intelligent, non-cliché calm darkness. Very recommended.
