Detritus's A Wake A Week side-project confirms its transformation from its neo-classical past to its much more ambient and low-key new face. In the vein of the excellent "Abandon" digital album, David Dando-Moore gives us back the quite forgotten 3" CDR format as well with four tracks of very subtle and crafted tracks of drones, contained noise and Satie-like piano. Encompassing but modest, dark but not "evil", here's something which could (and should) without any difficulty be found on Type Records. Excellent.
