Damn, he's good. While most of Aphex Twin's grandchildren have now accepted the fact that they will never go anywhere with their break-fests and have now moved to rave territories, Xanopticon manages to deliver here a new über-broken, dry and dark record in which his sound goes beyond the usual display of control of the fast breaks, but becomes a lot more mature and integrates really well some heavy drum'n'bass elements. Still fast, raw, gritty and merciless, but really damn well done and impressive. He's not faking it.
