Section8 focus on what I believe is their first love with this three track EP by Russia's Xpander. The first two tunes are hard, bassy and slightly old-school sounding dark drum'n'bass number, going quite fast but having the good idea of not putting everything in the red. The closing track is the real surprise here: the tempo slows down a bit (as does the aggression level) and rave piano makes an apparition, bridging the first hard tracks with much happier, mid-era Panacea style. All in all nothing super new under the sun, but very "spinnable" nonetheless.
